Dr. Amy Williams: Director of Curriculum Development at Exploros

At Exploros, we pride ourselves on having a talented and dedicated team, each bringing a wealth of experience to support educators and students. Today, we are excited to introduce you to Dr. Amy Williams, our Director of Curriculum Development. With a rich background in education, Amy has been an essential part of our team for nearly a year. In this blog post, we get to know Amy through a Q&A session about her journey and the insights she brings to her role.

1️⃣ How long have you been with Exploros?

I have been with Exploros for almost a year.

2️⃣ Why did you join the Exploros team?

With a background in teaching, school administration, curriculum writing, instructional coaching, and writing/editing, I felt that my position at Exploros was the perfect marriage of all my experiences. The product is so impressive! I wish more teachers knew about it, and I’ll be spreading the word among administrators and teachers I’ve worked with in the past to check it out.

3️⃣ How do you achieve success in your role at Exploros?

I achieve success by leveraging my diverse experiences to create curriculum that truly supports teachers and students. I always aim to design content that is practical, engaging, and adaptable to different classroom needs.

4️⃣ What do you love most about what you do at Exploros?
What I love most is knowing that my work helps teachers make a difference in their classrooms. By creating curriculum that is both innovative and teacher-friendly, I feel like I’m playing a part in amplifying student voices and improving learning experiences.

5️⃣ Share a surprising or fun fact about you.

A surprising fact about me is that I’m really into music! I play three instruments—violin, bass guitar, and French horn—and I was part of band, orchestra, and choir throughout middle school, high school, and college. I’m also a music trivia aficionado, especially with anything pre-1990. My husband and I often host trivia sessions with friends, and my favorite bands are Wham!, The Beatles, and Queen!

Amy’s extensive background and passion for education make her an invaluable part of the Exploros team. We’re thrilled to have her with us and look forward to the incredible work she continues to do in developing curriculum that empowers teachers and students alike.
