Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025
02 Feb, 2025
As we settle into 2025, we are thrilled to reflect on an incredible 2024 filled with growth, collaboration, and innovation in the field of social studies education. This past year, we had the privilege of attending and sponsoring several impactful conferences:
- Texas Region 4 Social Studies Conference
- Texas Metroplex Social Studies Conference
- Texas Council for the Social Studies Conference
- Ohio Social Studies Conference
- Alabama Social Studies Conference
- National Council for the Social Studies Conference
These events provided invaluable opportunities to connect with educators, share best practices, and highlight how our innovative social studies approach is making an impact. We are proud to share that this year, teachers and students generated over 32 million responses using our platform—giving every student a voice in the classroom.

We also had the privilege of participating in a six-month workshop conducted in collaboration with the American Institutes for Research® (AIR) and several educational publishers. During this workshop, we analyzed the High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) rubric, evidence guides, and related resources to learn and apply HQIM standards to our materials. Our goal was to ensure that students have the best opportunities to learn and master standards through engaging social studies content.

Additionally, we introduced pre- and post-test options for Texas schools, empowering educators with tools to measure student growth and enhance learning outcomes. This has been a game-changer for many classrooms, and we’re excited to see even more success stories in the year ahead.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The new year promises even greater things! Here are some highlights of what’s to come:
- New Features on the Horizon: We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we’re excited to announce that some highly requested features will be launching soon. Stay tuned for updates!
- Expanding Our Reach: For the first time, we are attending and sponsoring the North Carolina Social Studies Conference. As an approved provider for middle school social studies in North Carolina, we are eager to support educators in this new region.
- Updating Our Texas Curriculum: We are committed to not only keeping our curriculum aligned with state standards and the needs of Texas educators but also enhancing it to be more practical for daily use. Based on feedback, we are making updates to ensure an improved and engaging experience that better supports both teachers and students. Starting with the 8th grade course!
- Forming a Teacher Voice Team: Our mission has always been to give every student a voice. Since our inception, we’ve also prioritized listening to teachers and letting their insights shape our program. We’re excited to take this commitment to the next level by officially forming a Teacher Voice Team. This team of passionate educators will provide valuable guidance, insights, and feedback to help us continuously improve. Interested in participating? Sign up here to join—more details coming soon!
