Describe one of the dishes that you have had or would like to try. Explain why it sounds good to you.

Post your answer

Give students time to discuss the food they’ve read about. Some of them will have negative things to say, but encourage them to have an open mind. Invite students to discuss traditional foods in their families and the cultures they represent.

Ask students if they are familiar with any Southeast Asian restaurants in your community. If so, create a map that designates the locations of these restaurants.
