Although you weren’t born in the twentieth century, many of your family members and loved ones were. Twentieth-century American history wasn’t that long ago—and many of the political and social issues in our society are directly related to events of that time. In this experience, you will explore some of the major events and eras from the past century and recognize their influence on life today.

Identify and describe contributions of individuals and groups in the United States.
